Thank you to the SSCD
swimmers and their families who tolerated unusually hot and crowded
conditions at the Age Group Invitational held over the weekend at
Kamiak.
All participating SSCD
swimmers turned in solid performances at this meet, which required
PNS Gold qualifying times to enter individual events.
Personal best times from
the meet included:
- Emily Caley (10) in the
50 Free (32.68) and 100 Back (1:27.86) events.
- Mitchell Hovis (10) in
the 200 Free (2:24.88) and 500 Free (6:29.15) events.
- Lara Mangulabnan (10) in
the 50 Free (35.46).
- Stina Seaberg (10) in the
50 Breast (41.32) and 100 Breast (1:35.65). Stina is now just .53
seconds from a Sectionals qualifying time in the 50
Breast.
- Colton Keibler (16) in
the 100 Free (55.36).
- Nickolas Erickson (18) in
the 200 Free (1:59.50) and a personal best and PNS Long Course and
Sectionals qualifying time in the 400 IM (4:32.15).

for your support and guidance of our swimmers on Friday night and
all day Saturday and Sunday.
Fifteen SSCD swimmers
will be at it again next weekend at the Cascade Last Chance
Invitational. Please note that this meet is held at the Helene
Madison Pool.
There will be no Saturday
practice at Kamiak on March 6th.
